Ecstatic Dance is a Free Form Dance.

The Basic Tenants of Ecstatic Dance

• All forms of movement expression are encouraged, so respect for one another’s dance space is very important.

• We also encourage barefoot dancing (unless a medical condition or the flooring creates a challenge).

• Making sounds on the dance floor is welcome, conversations are not.

• Ecsatic Dance events are drug and alcohol free.

• Phones, cameras, and video devices are to be left off the dance floor

• Please also refrain from wearing scents on the dance floor (respect our safe space)

• Ecstatic Dance honours community and creates intention by Circling at the Opening and/or Closing of Dance.

• We will provide an Altar for those who need a peaceful space to sit and contemplate life.

• Be all of you!

Please arrive early or on time, bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing meant for movement. 

 Be prepared to sweat :)
